With this season, BMW becomes the official sponsor and exclusive mobility partner of the Erste Bank Open. This was announced at today’s Erste Bank Open press conference in Vienna. The company is thus successfully continuing its comprehensive involvement in tennis.

“The Erste Bank Open stands for top-class tennis. The outstanding performances of the athletes as well as the euphoric atmosphere in the Wiener Stadthalle are impressive. This joy is contagious — which is why we are very proud to be able to support one of the biggest sporting events in Austria,” says Christian Morawa, CEO BMW Austria.

“We are very pleased that we were able to win BMW as a strong partner in the longer term. The premium manufacturer BMW stands for transformation and innovative thinking — qualities with which the Erste Bank Open is also constantly being developed. This collaboration is another important step on the way to a sustainable and successful future for the Vienna tournament. With its global appeal, the Erste Bank Open offers a perfect platform for sponsors in the important area of customer communication,” explains tournament director Herwig Straka.

The Erste Bank Open has been offering world-class tennis in the Wiener Stadthalle since 1974. This year’s tournament will take place from October 19 to 27. BMW will be represented at the event with two exhibition areas and will provide the official shuttles for the Erste Bank Open. With this service from BMW, athletes can get to and from their games comfortably and safely.
